The largest amphibious military operation in history, Codenamed "Operation Neptune", often referred to as D-Day, began shortly after midnight, on June 6th 1944, with around 156,000 allies troops landing. Among them Approximately 14,000 Canadians landed in Normandy on D-Day, assaulting a beachfront code-named “Juno" During this Day Trip that will take you from Paris to the coast of France's Normandy region.
