Honest, helpful, and nice!

Stumbled upon this place our first day in Paris. Claire took the time to help us plan how to maximize 3 days with a long wish list of things to do. Not only were their prices great, their advice was phenomenal. We saw everything we wanted to, and didn't over do anything. When there was an issue with our tickets at the Moulin Rouge, Claire personally followed up and ensured that the venue credited my account. Her professionalism and courtesy were refreshing. My 18 year old daughter and I purchased 2 day museum passes, and successfully navigated the metro after a crash course from Claire. We also took their full day Versailles tour, saw a show at Moulin Rouge, a boat ride on the Seine (take the last boat so you see the Eiffel Tower light up), and the Eiffel Tower tour. I highly recommend this agency, and especially Claire!

Normandy Day Trip

Our trip was guided by Sylvain...great guide! Knowledgeable and friendly...kept us on track without rushing us...sensitive to my husband, an 83 year old 30-year military veteran. This trip meant alot to us...it was emotional and each spot held special meaning. We were very glad to have booked this small group tour.There were 8 of us in the group.Plenty of time for picture taking and observing the sites. One day is not enough if you are with a large group (we heard complaints from a couple who had been on one--too rushed;not enough time at each stop). Thank you Sylvain for an excellent day!

Wirlwind night to remember

Traveling first time in Paris, we booked the dinner at the Eiffel tower, river cruise, and chow at Moulin Rouge. Location was very convenient, they group was broken down into small group of 6 to 7, and we were assigned a driver/guide. Man did we luck out, our fellow was great fun, knowledgeable energic and a drown right pleasure to spend time with. Im old so I believe his mane was Arie maybe sorry. Tall thin full of personality. Dinner was great sunset amazing from the Eiffel tower, meet back with guide and off to the river cruise. We laugh sing a bit then onto the boat, it night the city is lite up what a treat. back at the dock and on to the Moulin Rouge Show, We travel through town our guide rattling as we go we learn some thigs about each part of town we go through what a ride ti was. Now Im not a big fan of these types of shows, but this is one YOU MUST SEE IF IT IS YOUR FIRST TIME TO PARIS. the show was amazing. Overall this company delivered us a taste of a great evening out

Excellent trip

Our trip to Versailles was excellent. Our guide was funny, gracious, and spoke English and was very engaging. The air conditioned coach was very nice and even had USB charging stations. Very clean and comfortable. Our tour of Versailles could not have been better! Very enjoyable!

All day trip to Versailles

My wife and I booked an all day trip to Versailles, and had a wonderful time. You have the option for a half-day, but that really only allows time for the palace. To save time exploring the gardens and the Trianon Estate, our tour guide told us that we could rent bikes, segways or golf carts, or take the tram to one of main spots on the grounds. What an amazing experience. Wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately. Would highly recommend Paris Trip for their Versailles Tour.

Lovely little tour company!

What a lovely little tour company! We booked a small group tour of the major attractions. It was my mom and I with one small family of 3. Our driver, Ricardo, was phenomenal. He was so enthusiastic about what we were seeing and did a great job of making sure were were everywhere at the best time. For our trip, we started with a drive around the city, learning the inside scoop. The van we were in was spacious and comfortable for the journey, and Ricardo kept us entertain for the duration of the trip around town. Every stop we had we were ahead of the crowds. It was incredible. Lunch in the Eiffel Tower, tour of Versailles. Every time we walked in, the crowds followed, but we were ahead! It was great! I would definitely book with this company again. We did so much in one day with a semi private tour for a great price. Could never have done what we did on our own.

We couldn't have asked for better trips. A little more time in the Palace at Versailles would have been nice but we only booked a half day so that's on us. Thank you for making our trip so memorable.

Laura and Claire were great! They gave us some good pointers for getting through security. I had a pocket knife and they held it at the counter so that it wouldn’t be confiscated at the tour. Afterwards they recommended a nice restaurant nearby and showed us some pointers on the map. Very friendly people, I would book another trip through them.

Paris Trip - Versailles Day Trip

This was great day trip. The meeting point is easy to find with the Paris Trip staff very welcoming; speaking good English as well. We had an early start and there were several cafés already open nearby even on a Sunday – so getting the caffeine kick for the day was easy. We saw other people getting light breakfast meals pretty promptly too ahead of their trips. Our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The skip-the-line access made a great difference too. The palace is stunning both architecturally and throughout the gardens. Our trip included a set-menu lunch at one of the better looking restaurants in the gardens which was pretty standard but freshly prepared. The lunch was a little early in the day (just before 12) however we beat the later rush and that in itself was worthwhile. The restaurant service was good; there was wine and soft drinks included. Overall a good day out with a very knowledgeable and interesting guide.

Monet's Garden and Versailles

This day excursion is highly recommended if you want to see just a bit more than Paris. Our Tour Guide Isabelle was charming, she was very informative and spoke excellent English. This is a small group tour. After the morning spent at Monet's Garden we enjoyed an excellent lunch at Le Moulin de Fourges. This is in an idyllic setting - an 18th century mill house. We were seated under a large canopy of greenery and served a tasty meal with red and white wines. In the afternoon we visited Versailles. Versailles is a must see for any tourist. Isabelle gave a comprehensive commentary about the history of the palace. We were than allowed some free time to enjoy the beautiful gardens. This was a memorable day. This tour is suitable for families with older children. The families that joined us for the day were 6 - 13 years of age.

We used them second time this summer and the quality of the service was outstanding both times. Highly recommend them, especially if you want to avoid huge queue anywhere you go. You will probably pay a bit more for tickets but it's worth it. Plus you can get tour guider.

Guide had Great Personality

So I booked the Eiffel Tower and Seine River cruise for 2pm. Was thrilled to find that we walked over to the Eiffel Tower and had minimal waiting, got a little background from the guide then he let us go on our way. It was great, just enough information without being stuck on a 3 hour tour (my kids get bored of those). Then I find out that we don't have to take the Seine River Cruise right then, we can wait and use it anytime in the next 24 hours! I had wanted to do a night cruise and was able to!

Excellent Tour to Giverny

We traveled to Giverny with Paris Trip and had an excellent guide in Sylvain. He was most informative with his commentary about the areas that we were travelling through and information on Giverny and Claude Monet; his life and history of the garden. Although an extremely busy day in Giverny, being in a public holiday long weekend, it was great to be in the tour group as our guide was able to take us to the front of an extremely long queue to allow us access to Monet's Garden. He then guided us to one of the bridges in the Japanese garden and explained the layout of the site and our meeting place at the end for our trip back to Paris. Overall a very enjoyable day in the beautiful and historic home of Claude Monet. Thank you Sylvain and Paris Trip Tours for a great job.

Loire Valley Castles Day Trip from Paris

This was an exceptional tour. The guide, Pascal, was punctual, spoke great English, and most importantly was very knowledgeable. He provided very important and interesting context for the visit to the Loire valley and its famous chateaus. He also had a very subtle and witty sense of humor, which for me was perfect. The chateaus visited Ambois, Chenonceau, and Chambord were breathtaking and unique, each providing a different sense of history and purpose for their respective inhabitants, which Pascal described in some detail. Any time we had a question, Pascal was ready to answer. He was clearly well educated about history (not only French history, mind you!) and discussed matters such as architecture, art, and even etymology. A+. This tour is a must if you in Paris or the Loire area. And if you get Pascal to be your guide - you're in luck!

Seine River Cruise and Show at the Moulin Rouge

This was our first night in Paris and our guide just made it the best. He explained many parts of Paris, ensured we knew what were were doing and where we have to be. The river cruise was a shock, it was soooo cold but worth it. After that we were taken to the north to see the Moulin Rouge show, again something you have to see when in Paris. Although only two stops it was perfect having a driver who dropped us back at the hotel. Top notch tour.

Highest quality service, a brilliant night

Organised the Tower restaurant, Seine River tour and 11.00pm show at Moulin Rouge. We were collected on time at the meeting point by our driver 'Americo' who was simply brilliant. Our ride in the can was calm and direct, he explained everything with regards to the Tower restaurant and River Tour. He obtained all tickets, directed us via 'front of line' access. After the river tour, we were collected and driven to various sites in Paris where 'Americo' took quality photos. We were dropped at the front door of Rouge and at 1.30am, he was waiting outside and drove us to our hotel. The highest of quality by the Company and our driver.

I took the full day trip to Verdun. It was especially appropriate in 2016, the centenary of the battle. We saw the town, the battlefields, and the Meuse-Argonne. Excellent guide, small group, and lots to see made for a wonderful day trip.

Somme Day Tour from Paris

This tour was a highlight of our trip to Paris in June Our guide, Nicola, who was very knowledgeable, along with our driver, Natalie, made our tour both historically informative and fun. They were prompt with pickup and returned us to our closest destination, either by metro or accommodation. Amazing evening with you!

We have to tell you about our amazing evening with you! Starting with checking in at your office with the friendly staff and then meeting Herve - who we LOVED! From minute one he ensured my daughter and I had the loveliest of evenings. He walked us carefully through recent road closings to the Eiffel Tower and our 6:00 p.m. reservation at Eiffel 58, met us afterward to drive us over the marina to meet our cruise and then, most importantly, navigated the crowded entry at Moulin Rouge to make sure we found our table and enjoyed the show. Afterward, he got some great photos of us that we will always treasure and then drove us directly to our hotel. We booked a Seine river cruise followed by The Moulin Rouge show, Herve was our driver and we wanted to leave a review of how amazing he was! He drove us round and explained every small detail of every landmark & building we passed that might be of interest to us. He was Happy and friendly and a general pleasure to be around. he went above and beyond his job role & he made our trip even more interesting. we saw more / learnt more about Parisian history in the van with Herve than we did all of our break! The seine cruise was a great relaxing way to see landmarks. The Moulin rouge champagne show was as amazing as expected and more!

Compassionate Guide

Our first trip to Verdun. My brother and I were impressed with the knowledge and feeling our guide projected. (Shame on us for forgetting his name!) He took us throughout the Meuse/Argonne sector; Verdun; Fort Douaumont and Ossuary; and finally to the American Cemetery. For lunch, we ate at a small café/museum, whose proprietor had recovered ALL the thousands of artifacts on display. Fascinating!

Great tour when you do not have time...

Great tour when you do not have time to dedicate a full day..or three..to fully see the Louvre. There is so much to see that it is impossible on a tight schedule but our guide brought us to the highlights and gave us some pertinent history we were not aware of. It was perfect timing and the skip the line feature is fantastic!

Our guide was really wonderful with a lovely background of facts and rich history as well as a warm, inviting disposition and a real love of her native city of lights. At the end, it seemed that we not only saw some of the best stuff the Louvre had to offer, but made a new friend as well. It definitely didn't hurt that there were only 2 couples in our group.

It was nice having a small group - our family of 4 and another couple were the only members of our tour group. Our guide was very informative and friendly. He was happy to answer questions that all of us had. We saw the high points with the guide and then had time to spend at the Louvre on our own. We are not big art enthusiasts but definitely wanted to see the Louvre while in Paris. It was nice having someone that knew their way around the Louvre and art to point out high points. "Small group visit with guide to Normandy"

While in Paris recently my friend and I had the desire to take a day trip to Normandy - primarily Omaha Beach and the American cemetery. I have used Viator in the past and been pleased with the quality of the tour. This tour was the best I have taken with them. We had a very small group - just myself and my friend and one other couple. We met our guide Fabrice at the appointed time and place and left for the drive north. Our guide was excelllent. Very personable and extremely knowledgeable. He pointed out sites along the way and did an excellent job of answering any and all of our questions. The vehicle was very comfortable and clean. We visited Pointe Du Hoc, Omaha Beach, the American cemetery and a museum. We had a nice lunch at a local place and even had time to stop in Arromanches. He returned us to Paris on time. It was an excellent day and I highly recommend this tour.

Great Day at Normandy

Max is an excellent guide and very personable. He picked us up at our hotel and drove to Normandy. Following the activities of the 75th Anniversary, there were still flowers and wreaths from various dignitaries in evidence. Seeing the beaches and Point du Hoc is a very sobering experience. Normandy area is beautiful. Max took us to a local restaurant for lunch (try the local cider). We returned to our local Paris hotel about 7 pm.

Spectacular!

A must-see! Superb choreography, beautiful dancers, spectacular sets and props and some very good music. What's more, a whole bottle of chilled champagne on the house. Cheers! Warning: if your prudish about topless women dancing on stage, visit Disneyland instead.

It was nice to comfortably travel via bus out to Versailles and skip the lines right into the Palace. It was a nice mix of audio tour and unguided discovery. I would recommend the full day so that you have enough time to visit everything - The Palace, Estate of Trianon and the The Garden. Wear comfortable walking shoes.

“Great way to see Versailles in 4 hours!”

We only had a half a day to see Versailles, but using this tour was the only way to do it. The bus was perfect and a great way to travel with a family. There was about a million people at Versailles, but it was still worth the trip. We could have spent all day at Versailles - just an amazing place. We just sat back and relaxed. A wonderful tour and very relaxing when you are traveling with kids!

Totally Awesome!

This was an excellent event. Nicholas, our guide, was excellent and gave a balanced overview of the events leading up to D-Day......full of useful and interesting information. It was a long, full day, 6:30 am ‘til 7:00 pm but well worth it. I would recommend it for families with children old enough to understand the events leading up to D-Day. Very sobering.

We were apprehensive to pay private but must say we made the right and most rewarding choice. This is a trip from the heart! my husband is a retired Marine it meant a lot to us. Our outstanding guide Nicolete was amazing and time was well worth it. He got the key, drank from the fountain, visited the Church, walk thru the Battlefield, and pay respect. History is beyond words, the trip itself is comfortable and the guide well knowledgeable. we got pickup at West Western Hotel and drop at the museum where we had an amazing time at the Museum of the Great War. Both my son and husband was a dream come true.. I will highly recommend it!

Excellent Tour

Nicola was an absolutely amazing guide. She was so knowledgeable and friendly. She gave us great information and history and offered suggestions for stops that we hadn’t been aware of. She also recommended a spot for lunch that was fantasic food, (my husband is still trying to find a Croque Madame he likes as much). This is a nice/quiet/peaceful tour. It has great information and museums, under appreciated areas and just an overall great day to be spent in the area. If you appreciate history, I recommend this one.

Awesome trip!

This small group trip was amazing! Our guide, Nicola, was so knowledgeable about WWI. Her running commentary and stories through the day really brought the war to light. We learned so much about what our ancestor probably went through as he fought and died at Vimy Ridge. We highly recommend this day trip.

Well worth the time!

A bit of a drive we we made good time and the intermediate stops were well timed and provided a good opportunity to find some snacks. The many stops at Normandy are well selected with just the right amount of time at each including the beach, bunkers, museum and American cemetery. Lunch was very good as well at a small local cafe.

Monet would love this tour!

First off, the Paris Trip office staff ran a smooth, cheerful and effective operation upon check in. We then met Isabella who was a fountain of information regarding all things Monet, Versailles and Paris. She loved sharing this information and did so in an engaging and witty way. The tours themselves were perfectly orchestrated to allow doses of our guide's knowledge and free exploring. Having done this day, I can't imagine doing a trip to Paris and not including this. The water gardens at Giverny and the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles are NOT to be missed. But, probably the biggest delight was the lunch. Like me you may have booked lunches with tours before. And, they feel like lunches booked to serve large volumes of people. Not this time. The mill we ate lunch at looked like it jumped out of a Monet painting...please hear me on this, I'm not being hyperbolic. And, the food, served outdoors, was to die for, including wine and desert. Do yourself a favor and book this experience!

Great tour, but long day!

We enjoyed a great day with Maurice? our tour guide. He provided us with some interesting stories of the area and kept us moving along. We had plenty of time at each chateau in the Loire Valley, We visited Chenonceau first, wine tasting and lunch before Amboise (quaint little old town area), and finally, Chambord, which was having a Renaissance festival at the time! Would recommend if you don't mind the long day.

World War I sites

Our tour leader was Max and he was very interesting. It was a very relaxed day as we visited war sites, cemeteries and museums with United States relevance. Max made the battle fields come alive with his vast knowledge of history. I highly recommend this tour if you can have the expert knowledge of Max.

Wonderful day in Normandy!

Our guide Nicolas was so great! He was very informative and funny. We saw so much on this trip, but of course we wish we saw more. There's just too much to see. We weren't able to spend as much time at the Overlord Museum as my husband would have liked. It had a huge collection of German, American and British artifacts. The place we stopped for lunch was wonderful. Great food. Overall it was a long day, but we saw so much! We would definitely recommend!

Our tour guide - Pascal - was great. He made sure we had enough time to see all these sites, providing historic insights every where we went. Also brought us to this nice place for lunch and again giving us a very good description of historic events in the area. We highly recommend this tour. It is well worth it.

Excellent tour that every Canadian should take!

Our guide was prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable. A very comprehensive tour and the Canadian museum (with Canadian guides) was wonderful. Going through the German bunkers was quite an experience as was paying our respects at the Canadian cemetery. It is a long day at 11 hours but it’s a 2+ hour journey to the coast each way. Highly recommend.

We had a great time, Michelle was very knowledgeable and we all agreed we learnt a lot from her about the history and inhabitants of Fontainebleau. We were also amazed about the grandeur of the Chateau and how well kept it is. Timewise, I would have like a little more time in the Chateau to take in what was on display. This tour was amazing !!

This tour was amazing !! Right from the moment we met Nicola on the Opera Garnier Steps at 1.30am to the very end. We travelled in a comfortable coach to Villers Bretonneux. The Entrance to the Dawn Service was well organised and the Ceremony itself was very moving. At the end of the ceremony we travelled through the Battlefields of the Somme. Nicola and Regis had an incredible knowledge of World War 1 and of the individual battles. Both Nicola and Regis were friendly, and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed this tour immensely and would highly recommend it to others even with the 1.30am meeting time Thank you for a great day. Lynne and John

A very satisfying day!

My husband and I went on this tour to Villers Bretonneux for the dawn service on Anzac Day, 2016. We met up with our tour guides Nicola and Regis at Opera Garnier and left Paris at 2.15am. When we arrived at Villers Bretonneux the tour guides provided us with ponchos, croissants, orange juice and water along with information on the order of service. On arrival the security was understandably strict after which each person was given booklets and 2 pins for the service. The Dawn Service itself was a very moving experience. After the Service there was a wait for each tour bus to be called in turn because there were a lot of people and tour buses! Our tour then continued on to visit a few of the battlefields and memorials with Nicola and Regis who were very friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and informative. This is a must-do tour for Australians and New Zealanders but wear a lot of warm clothes and a waterproof jacket - we were lucky it didn't rain. We returned to Paris at 3.45pm.

Loved this Tour!

Loved this Tour, was pricey, but money well spent. Picked up at midnight and driven to Villers-Bretonneux for the transfer to the Dawn service, given a gift package that had some light brekkie. After Dawn service we went on a day tour of the battlefields. Nicola the guide was extremely knowledgeable, and loved to talk, we all loved to listen, when someone knows what she does, why wouldn't you listen. Don't hesitate to book these guys, it is well organised and a great day, with other like minded individuals for the day.

We really enjoyed it!

We attended the VB Anzac Day service hosted by Richard and Nicola (English). The tour left Paris on time and both ensured we were well equipped with all information for our arrival and the agenda for the day. They also had water, juice and ponchos available for everyone and at the service there was complimentary tea, coffee and croissants. Nicola’s knowledge was extensive and she gave some great insights into the region and the history of the WW1 battles and what it meant, especially to Australians. We would thoroughly recommend the tour to anyone. Note: be prepared for an early departure from Paris (2am).

I would definitely recommend this tour. If you have limited time to see the battlefields this is a good way to do it It made it easy to cover a lot of history and large area in 1 day from Paris Our guide Julian was very informative and made the day enjoyable as well. I appreciated the fact that transportation from Paris was included. Getting to Vimy Ridge without a car can be difficult, and the time spent in the minibus was an opportunity to get to know other visitors and also talk with the tour guide about the war and French history in general.

Well worth the trip!

Vimy Ridge is a must visit for everyone. It's amazingly preserved, and you can really get a feel for the hell that all the soldiers were going through at the time. Our guide did a great job in showing us all the important sites, and was a wealth of information about the battle of Arras. Lunch in the town of Arras was a surprise too, what a beautiful place!

Amazing Day

We had the best day in Versailles, we got awkwardly lucky seeing we are traveling during the CV Pandemic and crowds were exceptionally light. Our tour guide Oliver, was absolutely wonderful and a wealth of knowledge. We did the full day with lunch and access to Marie Antoinettes house which is a must do. The lunch that was included was quite large but also included wine which was a plus! Everything was so beautiful and such an amazing sight. The tour pick up was very easy to find and check in. Overall would definitely recommend.

Ha superado mis expectativas. Una vez allí te das cuenta que 4 horas son muy pocas para semejante sitio; pero en todo momento se nos informó de ello. Durante el desplazamiento, Arnaud nos fue explicando la parte de París que atravesábamos. Una vez allí nos dejó claro lo que debíamos hacer y cómo reencontrarle a la salida. The guide was great!

The guide was great, she took the time to answer questions and to give advice on what to do after. The Eletro Nocturne show was more enjoyable than the tours. Don't take this as an insult the tours were great but the show was just next level. Two bits of advice, the headsets were not clear and very distorted at high volumes. I would think this is due to the quality of the earpiece. If you advised people to bring their own headsets that would be ideal (and environmentally friendly). Also please advise anyone with small children to rent or bring a stroller. I didn't bring one because I assumed they were not permitted. My experience would have been much better with a stroller.

Our tour of Versailles was a highlight. Our tour guide Isabella knew so much history that was beyond great! The palace is just beautiful and a must see to appreciate the history of Paris. The gardens were dormant since is close to winter. But can only imagine what it must be look like in the summer.

Great tour of Champagne!

Had a great experience with Oliver on our tour! He provided history on the drive and fun facts about the region. The salt cave tour was very unique and the second winery had a wonderful personal approach to the tasting and wine making process. He stopped at scenic points for pics and took pics of our groups. Mask and covid requirements were followed. Wish we had more time in Reims but the Cathedral was beautiful and information Oliver shared was a nice addition since the information posted around the Cathedral was only in French. Would highly recommend to friends!

What an excellent day! This region of France has such beautiful views. We enjoyed spending the day with our driver and overall tour guide, Olivier. It was a great perspective to see a big company like Moet and Chandon and a family winery. We got excellent service and information at both. Olivier made stops along the way to show snippets of history and really added to the day! We truly enjoyed our experience.

Very worthwhile visit

We were given a guided tour by one of the Canadian students so we had extra insight into what the soldiers had to go through. Very moving and make you realize what these guys gave up and the conditions that they had to live in, whilst doing so. Definitely would recommend visiting if you are in the area and if you can join one of the tours even better.

This is a tour every Canadian should go on to better appreciate the bravery and sacrifices made at Vimy Ridge. Visiting a few of the over 600 cemeteries in Northern France, our tour included the Cabaret Rouge British Cemetery as well as the German cemetery, Neuville-St. Vaast. The monument itself is an amazing tribute to our nation's grief and respect for all the lives lost. My daughter and I will never forget this visit.

Fontainebleau is exceptional- a must visit!

Oliver was excellent. He was so knowledgeable and friendly. I learned so much! I would highly recommend the tour and guide but feel the tour deserves more time as the 4 hours was not enough to take in all the Fontainebleau had to offer. I would recommend a full-day tour with a lunch break.

The guide was great!

Emmanuel was an excellent accommodative guide, there were only two other persons that showed up so it was just the five of us thankfully. He also fast-tracked us through to use his locker as a group locker in which we placed our jackets etc and also returned with us at the end to collect them. I'm not a very art-interested or blown away person I prefer museums/dinos/aquariums lol so the two hr tour of the main things was great...after a while, you lose interest anyway. It was great to have someone to help navigate you through this massive space and the crowds which were still there even though Paris was freezing! I hit a souvenir store after and was out as I booked the museums to do.
